VA Private College Week

Is it hot outside?  Well, then it must be the dog days of summer, which always seems to line up with Virginia Private College Week.  From July 30 – August 3, private colleges around Virginia will open their doors to visitors, so expect BIG crowds if you are making your way to Lexington next week.

If a student gets their passport stamped at three or more participating institutions, then the prize is three application fee waivers!

So, if you find yourself visiting Lexington, be  sure to pay attention to parking, as we have a few spaces in front of our building, but your best bet is to use the Lee Chapel lot or the parking garage on campus.  I’d also recommend stopping by Sweet Things Ice Cream (cash only), the Hillel House (great breakfast and lunch options) or my favorite place in town, Bistro on Main.  Stay cool out there!
